Unable to eat due to sudden food allergies

Late 30’s male, 5’6 and 130 lbs. I noticed about 6 months ago that I was having small reactions to fried food. I would have sudden severe brain fog, heart racing, cold sweats, dizziness, occasional itching, and horrible anxiety/sense of doom. I was also taking Pepcid for GI/GERD symptoms and it suddenly stopped working and started making me nauseous. These reactions eventually progressed to most proteins, then eventually to virtually all food. Antihistamines have no effect, and steroids seem to be the only thing that makes a difference. I have a specialist appointment lined up, but in the meantime I am frequenting the ER and eating small bites of bread and water.
