Does anyone who uses tampons start cramping right after they put the first one in?

I dont typically cramp much on my cycle but a little while after i put my tampon in, i start to cramp for the whole day. The cramping isn’t painful or anything but it’s still present and it tends to go away after a day or two. I wonder if this is a common thing for anyone else? I use Tampax.
