Ios27 limited photos access issue

I have most apps set to “Limited Access” or “Private Access” to my photos library. Ie I have to select the photos the app is allowed to access.

Since updating to ios27 this now seems to be broken for many apps. WhatsApp will show the limited library access but when I add a new photo it just spins forever.

Some other apps are experiencing the same thing.

Anyone else having this issue. Is there a fix (I don’t want to give full access btw). Thanks
