ZEPBOUND

California - Southern

I was prescribed Zepbound 09/04 and I was approved because I have a BMI over 40, insulin resistance, pre-diabetic and have tried other medications/weight loss plans and failed.

I was transferred to another office, SAN DIEGO , for care and my PCPC received a message from this offices weight management Dr saying they can no longer prescribe me Zepbound because the rules have changed and now they require for me to also have sleep apnea. I am in Southern California. The office I was transferred from was also in Southern California. Is this true? When did this change go into to effect? It’s been less than a month since I picked up my first dose and the rules were if BMI is over 40, I have tried other meds, etc I qualify.

I am mid-dose BTW.
