AITA for yelling at my mom over bread
I ( 18F ) was on my way to the gym when my mom asked me if I could grab something for her on my way home, to which I said yes; I already had the car turned on because I was in a bit of a rush to go before the gym closed, and my mom realized that so she tried quickly thinking of all the things she wanted me to grab for her, to which she said " grab some bread, and uhm, lettuce, but there is a specific type of lettuce- " and I said " Mom, I will just send you a picture when I am there, okay? " and she agreed.
So as Im leaving the gym, I go to the store, grab said bread and send her the pictures of the lettuce and she picks the one she wanted; And before going home, I even grab her a little sweet she mentioned she was craving earlier in the week.
Then, when I got home, I put the stuff she asked for on the table and go wash my hands, and I was excited to see her reaction when she realized I bought her the sweet she mentioned, but before I could do that, I heard my name being YELLED like someone was dying.
I rush to the kitchen worried something happened only to find out I accidentally didnt get the specific brand of bread she wanted, and at this point shes yelling at me saying " didnt you say you would send me a picture of the bread?! " and I say " I said that for the lettuce, I had no idea you wanted a specific type of bread " and she continues yelling at me about how she always gets the same type of bread so how could I not get the right one, so at some point I just go " it is JUST some goddamn BREAD, get over it oh my god " and go to my room and lock the door; We did not really talk for the rest of the night.
Come today, shes talking to me like nothing happened.
Some info that might be relevant:
The bread was literally just to make herself a burger, not a family dinner or anything important.
The bread I got was just " too thick " for the kind of patty she bought not like anything actually wrong with it.
I legit would have apologized and honestly went back to get the right kind of bread, I just got upset at the moment because she was yelling at me for no reason.
Am I the asshole for having yelled at her like that? And is it bad I want her to apologize for what she did?
