Sous: Terra, honey! It's so good to see you again, my sister.

Terra: Yeah, likewise, Sous. Working with Mom and being part of the Afterlife Division is cool, but I miss the antics the two of us got into when we had a Super Patrol assigned to us.

Sous: Haha! Those were the days, although working with Jacquet is a different kind of fulfilling.

Terra: I can only imagine. The Patrollers are here; let's start, yeah?

Sous: Of course. Hello everyone! Sorry for the last-minute location change, but I assure you there is a reason for that.

As you can see, I'm not the only one here. I'm sure you have at least heard of my old partner, Terra.

Terra: Sup.

Sous: Terra is from a Timeline Variant of Universe 7 and was involved in her timeline's version of events that the main timeline showed us. She is here to give the lecture on the last three transformations of this Era in history.

Terra: Three? I thought you said two?

Sous: Yeah, I may have made a slight chronological error. I forgot to include the Bio-Android Absorption.

Terra: What, you saw 'Absorption' and automatically lumped it with Buu?

Sous: How'd you know?

Terra: How could you make an error that small, Sous?

Sous: An eerie figure with no corporeal form who may have a vendetta against divinity interrogated me during the rest day. Will you stay for the three lectures, Terra? Please?

Terra: \*Sigh\* Only for you, Sous. Anything to avoid the obstacles I've been facing lately. Starting a Division is more of a headache than I thought.

Sous: I can only imagine.

Terra: Anyway, let's start.

Absorption is most famously associated with Super Buu, but chronologically, Cell debuted the maneuver and the transformations that come with it. Sarge didn't include this originally because, as you can see, we don't have a singular Bio-Android Patroller.

We have Cell as an instructor, but he's already in Perfect Form and is too much of an asshole to help Vomi and R&D, so we don't bother asking him for the details of how it works. Thankfully, Vomi, being a former Red Ribbon Scientist who worked with Dr. Gero, who was her ex-husband when they still occupied their biological bodies, has all the info anyway. So,

Fuck him.

Cell is a Bio-Android created by Dr. Gero's Supercomputer, and since he's an Android, he can't get stronger the same way we do (i.e., training, Zenkais, intentional handicapping, etc.). The Geezer designed Cell to become stronger upon absorbing two other Androids: 17 and 18, in that order. We don't know what would happen if Cell absorbed 18 first, though Vomi theorized that nothing would change. Cell would still reach Semi-Perfect Form, and then absorbing 17 would give him Perfect Form.

Bio-Cell Absorption could also be applied to other people. Before the encounter that resulted in 17 and 18's Absorption, Cell went from city to city absorbing anyone who had the misfortune of running into him. By then, Fasha and I were part of the Z Fighters, and we searched for him everywhere, but we couldn't find him in time. By the time we did, it was already too late.

It was like being in the middle of a Slasher flick.

Cell used that nasty-ass tail to do the deed. If it wasn't an Android, he would extract all of the victim's energy, leaving nothing but their clothes behind. I was there with Piccolo when he did it to that poor old man, and we were both shocked to the point where neither of us moved. Non-Android absorptions would just make him hungrier and stronger. Absorbing Android 17 and 18 would result in his infamous transformed states.

Becoming Semi-Perfect, Cell easily outmaneuvered and overpowered Android 16, who was arguably stronger than him in his Imperfect Form, and none of the non-Saiyan Z Fighters, since Uncle Krillin didn't scare Cell in the slightest. When Vegeta showed up and went Super Saiyan Grade 2, he dominated him with ease, and if Trunks got involved in the same way, the ass-kicking Cell took would've been about the same. If anything, if Trunks fought Semi-Perfect Cell first, I probably never would've known what Perfect Cell would've looked like.

Sous: Did you fight any form of Cell, Terra?

Terra: Piccolo and I 2-on-1'ed Cell when we first found him, but he blasted me away to isolate Piccolo and absorb his arm. I then fought him again at the Cell Games.

Sous: You fought Perfect Cell at the Cell Games? What happened to Hercule?

Terra: It was the same in my timeline. Hercule showed up, embarrassed himself, and then Fasha and Uncle Goku volunteered me to be his first opponent.

Sous: Oh, dear. How did that go?

Terra: About as well as you can expect. I showed everyone that I gained access to Super Saiyan Grade 4 and fought well, even earning Cell's compliments, but I still lost.

Anyway, absorbing 18 allowed Cell to reach his Perfect Form, and at that point, Super Vegeta, Super Trunks 2, me as a Perfected Super Saiyan, Fasha, and even Uncle Goku stood no chance. Even in my time, Gohan after reaching Super Saiyan 2 was the only person who stood a chance. That's how far the power gap was between him and everyone else.

Sous: Wow, that's a massive gap, Terra.

Terra: You're telling me. In regard to behavior in each form. Semi-Perfect Cell was openly brash and hard-headed. He relied more on brute force than strategy, as in his Imperfect State. His single-mindedness was intensified, and when he faced obstacles, he lost his ability to think rationally. In Perfect Form, Cell showed the combined personality of the people his cells were composed of.

Piccolo's cunning, Vegeta's pride, Uncle Goku's laid-back disposition, Freeza's smugness and his psychotic behavior, and the Saiyan lust for battle. He also became unsettlingly polite but grew incredibly arrogant, believing his Perfect Form made him unbeatable.

Then Cousin Gohan showed him why Perfection is only a theory and why it can never be truly achieved.

Let Cell's death provide the following lesson. You are NOT as strong as you think you are; there is ALWAYS someone stronger than you. Sous is stronger than me; Mom is stronger than Sous; Chronoa is stronger than Mom; etc.

Sous: Well said, my sister. For now, we will return to this lovely Beach for the rest of the Android Era Transformation Lectures, and Terra will continue the remaining two transformations. Where are we exactly?

Terra: In my and Jacquet's timeline. In the Archipelago, where the events that led to Cell reaching his Perfect Form took place. I came here to relax and have some time to myself. My 'Land of the Kais,' if you will, Sous.

Sous: Hahahaha! Excellent. Until next time, everyone.

Stay safe, and may Shenron bless you on your Patrols, my children!

Terra: Don't leave a trail, folks!
