Where is the ‘Enhanced’?

I came back to Crimson Desert after having a lot of fun at release but seeing the swiftness of the updates made me stop. The ‘Enhanced’ update and a coming DLC made me think this would be the best time to come back in.

I think something got lost in translation because this is not at all enhanced.

• The story is still boring as balls. It just makes 10% more sense.

• Crime system is still nonsense.

• Customization is still locked behind 20h of gameplay for no reason at all.

• The Kearush fight is still terrible with boss clipping through walls, animations going haywire to connect, the game not respecting my chosen weapon in the ‘cutscenes’ and the camera going crazy

• The ‘take in the dog’ quest is still broken, also boring.

• Performance is worse on the PS5 Pro.

Simply put the Enhanced Edition added a bit to the story and kept almost all the jank intact. I still adore this game but Pearl Abyss acting like this is an improvement worthy of being called ‘Enhanced’ is laughable.
