Potential for the wireless dongle to be used for other devices?

I know at launch the uses of the frame accessories are probably pretty limited, but i wonder: could it be used to stream moonlight to something like an nvidia shield or apple tv?

Im already doing some sketchy cable management to get the dongle in my living room connected to my beefy pc in the office. It would just be nice if it could enhance more than just the frame for the effort.
