Update. Next date cancelled indefinitely.

We’ve actually halted a little since the date.

A few days afterwards, she started to feel that what had happened didn’t sit quite right with her. She feels she put herself in a vulnerable position and let things go further than she actually wanted.

He was very forward from the start. She agreed to some kissing and let him touch her legs at the table, which she actually felt hot doing and naughty.
As they were saying goodbye in the car park, they kissed and after his persistence throughout the night she agreed to him touching her breasts. However, he then escalated further and touched her intimately without asking. She got caught up in the moment and felt quite shocked by how far things had gone, before telling him to stop. He did.

He then suggested moving things to a hotel, which she refused.

She’s okay now, but she’s been honest that she has an “ick” about the memory and is still working through why she allowed herself to get into that situation when she didn’t actually want it to go that far. She doesn’t fancy him and has cancelled their next planned date, although she thinks he and his wife are nice people and would happily chat to them socially if we happened to meet at an event.

For us, it’s been a learning experience.
We’ve slowed it down for now and are much more likely to explore together from now on, so she feels safer and we can both be involved.

It’s definitely made us realise that fantasy and reality can feel very different, and that feeling comfortable and in control matters more than how far something goes.
