What is going on

Disclosure day just dropped to reasonable prices, and I rented it. Can someone please explain what i just saw ? Or is it like Cristopher Nolans "Tenet" where it isnt meant to be understood but felt, it made me feel awfull. As of now its the worst movie i have ever watched ( the budget, author etc considered)

I have never read the book, or researched anything. But what i extracted from the movie, is that Margaret and Daniel or Hansel and Gretel or whatever, was beamed up and probed in the fourth dimension.
