Should I add her back after her boyfriend made her stop talking to me?
We’re both 16 and live about 6 hours apart. We met in real life, and after we both went home she initiated contact again. We’ve been talking daily for about 2 months and became pretty good friends. I thought we were both genuinely interested in continuing to talk.
While we were talking one day, she suddenly said she felt like she should remove/block me because someone was making her uncomfortable about talking to me. She specifically said it wasn’t me making her uncomfortable.
While we were still talking, her boyfriend added me and said something along the lines of: “So she’s my gf and she doesn’t want to talk to you.” I didnt believe this at all but afterwards she removed me on snap,
I was shocked and ended up blocking her, mostly because I didn’t want to impulsively add her back immediately. I still follow her on insta and have her phone number but i think its best to not bypass her restriction and add her on snap so she has her own choice in whether she is comfortable to talk.
It’s been 8 days now. I’m thinking of waiting until around 1.5 weeks, then unblocking and adding her. If she accepts, I’d probably ask whether she’s actually comfortable talking to me in this situation and whether she can explain what happened. Would adding her after 1.5 weeks be reasonable, or should I leave her and her relationship alone and take this as a sign to just accept the fate of our friendship??
TL;DR: We’re both 16 and had been talking daily for 2 months after meeting in real life. Her boyfriend contacted me while we were talking and said she didn’t want to talk to me. She seemed upset about it. I blocked her afterward because I was shocked. It’s been 8 days. Should I wait ~1.5 weeks, unblock and add her again, or leave her alone?
