Tree Placement Advise!

Hi all,

I recently moved into a property and it has many old trees on the property. I am having one removed by an arborist tomorrow ( replacing it by planting five other), however, this mock orange is looking very over grown. The arborist says it would cost as much to pull it out as it would to clean it up. The branches are tightly tangle in on themselves and many of the branches are dead. I was thinking of having it also removed and replacing it with an Eddies White dogwood. However, I keep flip flopping. What would you do!

I love the sweeping arch look it provides, has pretty white blossoms in spring, provides some privacy from the neighbours- however, is large and domineering in this space.
