Got wires redone. Is it normal to be getting cut in all 4 corners of my mouth?

Howdy, folks! I recently got my wires adjusted and all that with a new wire up top and bottom. I went from a small cut against my lower lip to now being cut in all 4 corners of my mouth— against my back molars.

Wax won’t stick, I’ve tried everything. Do I just deal with the pain and the sores?
