Looking to Contribute QA/Test Automation to an Open-Source or Side Project

Looking for an open-source or side project to contribute to as a QA / test automation tester

Hi everyone! I’m currently a Software Engineering Master’s student and I’m building my QA automation portfolio. I’m looking for an open-source project, startup, or side project where I can contribute for free in exchange for real hands-on testing experience.

I can help with:

* Manual testing
* Test case design
* UI automation with Selenium / Java
* API testing
* SQL/database testing
* Bug reporting
* Regression testing
* Learning and implementing Playwright/TestNG as needed

I’m mainly looking for a real project where I can actually contribute test cases, automated tests, bug reports, and documentation that I can later include in my portfolio.

I’m not looking for payment at this stage — my main goal is to gain experience working on a real-world project and build a strong testing portfolio.
