She Wants To Reschedule Our Date. Is This A Red Flag?

Last week I (M26) matched with a girl (F26) on Hinge. We chatted over the weekend, I asked her out for the following week and by Monday we had moved to text.

We chatted some more during the week and by Wednesday, I had told her the plans for our date on Friday. She replied and said that she has to go into the office on Friday which would be in the opposite direction of where I had planned and doesn’t finish until 5. Yesterday, she asked maybe we can go somewhere a little closer and asked where abouts I live? I told her I am down for that and told her my general location. She never replied to that message.

This morning I asked her if we are still on for tonight and suggested a place we can go that is halfway between where I am and where she is working. She replied saying she had a very busy morning and if we can reschedule because her boss asked her to work overtime.

I messaged back to see if she is free either tomorrow or Sunday and then we can do the original date plan if she is up to it.

Her behavior early in the week was very enthusiastic and then all of a sudden she started replying slower and then the change of plans makes me think she’s lost interest or was just wasting my time from the beginning. I would still be happy to go on the date with her if she replies, and now the ball is in her court. So I will see if she is seriously interested.

Tl:dr: if a girl asks to reschedule a date is that a red flag? Should I just let her go?
