Have you ever left a good person to explore and regretted it?
My boyfriend of 1.5 years (28M) has struggled with not knowing if he needs to explore other women sexually (only been with one other person once before me) and has constantly been hesitant of commitment the entire time without exploring first despite my constant unwavering love and care. He’s afraid of losing me but he’s also afraid of never exploring. This has obviously made me anxious and sad and unsafe in the relationship and has made our relationship stressful. I’ve done so much for him despite my health issues, took accountability for how my anxiety had affected him, I am constantly showing him how much I love him by taking caring of him in many ways.
I’m curious if anyone has regretted leaving a good person, someone that deeply cared and loved them, to explore? Sometimes I wonder if I should let him go, so I could finally make the decision for him, if he’d ever come back and regret it.
