Is anyone worried about Elder Scrolls: 6 story being hijacked?
I was watching an old Fudge Muppet video and he was going in on “The Great War” book you can find in Skyrim and how it kinda sets up things for Elders scrolls 6, specifically this part.
“All those who value freedom over tyranny can only hope that before it is too late, Hammerfell and the Empire will be reconciled and stand united against the Thalmor threat. Otherwise, any hope to stem the tide of Thalmor rule over all of Tamriel is dimmed.”
I mean I was hyped hearing that. I can just see this amazing quest where we can finally bring hammerfell and the empire back together to stop the thalmor. But I just always get this daunting feeling that anything pro empire will be thrown out of the next games story for a theme more that is more anti establishment because of how people feel today. Maybe I’m wrong and Bethesda will stick to their guns and stay with this narrative that I believe they’ve been building. That the empire are mostly the good guys and the thalmor will eventually be stopped by them but on the other hand I just feel in the end we will get this awkward resolution where the empire plays no role in the thalmors downfall and maybe we don’t even see these two titans clash in the end cause the whole ordeal could have been solved by hammerfell alone or forbid just one person.
I don’t know. I’m just so tired of seeing sequels turn against/ sh*t on themes that came before simply because they think that’s interesting. Anyone feel the same or kinda worried about other plot lines?
