Looking for manga focused around cool creatures.

Whenever I see a really cool creature design it’s always I small part of the story and in some gooner slop where they turn into a anime girl. I’m looking for something where we constantly have cool new creatures kinda like in monster hunter or where the mc is a adventure who goes around exploring and finding these new cool creatures rather than killing them or turning them into anime girls. Basically I want a manga centered around cool creature designs preferably avoiding the “they are actually a anime girl” trope.
