New growth on skin

I'm going to start off by saying I was able to call the vet and get my boy in for a vet appointment first thing tomorrow morning.

My boy is an 11 year old neutered mutt around 68-70 lbs. We're on the mid Atlantic area. I just noticed a new dime size growth on his side. The fur around it had been licked which suggests to me that he may be having some discomfort with it. He does have some small warts and larger skin tags but those are all more skin toned whereas this new growth is red, firm (but feels superficial), and has an almost granular appearance.

I noticed yesterday that he seemed to be peeing more than usual and today he has a bit of puss in his penis. No idea if these two things are somehow related or if he just separately has a UTI.

Any questions I should ask the vet tomorrow or considerations to monitor overnight?
