New oven - worried about chemicals and cooking?

My oven broke last night. We’ve lived in the same rental for 7 years and it suddenly just gave up on us. I am concerned about using a new oven. I am doing the “burn in” where you turn the oven on an 450 and leave it empty while it ventilates. The chemical smell is so strong. I had to leave the apartment bc I was worried about reacting from the smell alone. I don’t know when I will feel comfortable cooking in it….but I am going to run out of frozen chicken (my only safe protein) by tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions or have been thru this before? I’m stressed

As a side note, MCAS fucking sucks. No one thinks about all the little ways it affects your life.
