CT Results

My mum had an urgent cancer pathway gp referred ct scan 12 days ago, went to the hospital today to ask about the progress, it's not even been looked at yet. Everyone, even the receptionist was so angry and i honestly can't believe it, the woman who was suppose to be looking at it had "gone home early today" as well so there was no option of even having it looked at right then and there. I thought the whole point of the "urgent" pathway was aiming to have results back within about 7 days, max??
