Hi everyone,  
In 2020 I completed all the required nursing prerequisites at Southeastern Louisiana University (A&P, micro, chem, psych, stats, etc.). Back then I was accepted and transferred to Delgados nursing program, but never started due to personal reasons. I have spent the better part of my 20’s doing mental gymnastics to get back into school. I reapplied and got accepted again at Delgado to begin spring 2027, but I am completely unvaccinated, which makes me unable to complete the clinical hours required for nursing school. (I probably should have assumed this) So its been a bit of a let down and I am now exploring my options.   
I’m looking at switching to a Health Systems Administration degree (or possibly Health Sciences, or anything as im just learning about this side of healthcare) so I can still stay in the field and use the credits I’ve already earned. I really have no knowledge about this side of things so any insight/ advice would be greatly appreciated. I am a new mom and I just want a stable career so I can provide a comfortable life. 

•  What does the day-to-day actually look like in common entry/mid-level roles (practice manager, clinic administrator, patient services, quality improvement, etc.)?  
•  How realistic is it to get a decent-paying job with just a bachelor’s in Health Systems Administration, especially in Louisiana?  
•  Pros, cons, or things you wish you knew before going into this field?

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the decision and just want some real-world perspectives. Thanks in advance for any advice!
