Most young people are broke because of their own choices

Before you all cut my head off I wanna say this

I’m not saying the economy isn’t fucked. Rent is expensive, food is expensive, transportation is expensive.
I get it and obviously some people genuinely can’t save anything due to some circumstances .

But a lot of younger people my age I meet are paying for 5+ subscriptions, ordering takeout constantly, going out every weekend, buying expensive clothes, getting the newest iPhone, uber left and right. I could name thousands reason more.

Seriously?? cut some fucking shit out??? Learn to cook. Cancel Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, whatever. You don’t need a $1,600 phone or $150 shoes.

Like im in the same boat so why can I do it but you can't?! I’m studying, I pay rent, I don’t have rich parents who finance my life and I still manage to save money because I don’t constantly spend it on shit I don’t need.

I'm sick and tired of my generation pretending that is hard to save money when you are spending way more than you fucking earn. AND AGAIN I UNDERSTAND NOT EVERY LIFE IS THE SAME but my point still stands.
