Last Sunday, I finished MGS for the first time. I played it on my Switch.

I have been delaying playing it for some time now, because MGS2 was the first one that I played almost eleven years ago on my Vita (what a great console, such a shame that Sony abandoned it). So far, I have played 2, 3, Peace Walker, and V (GZ and TPP). The gameplay was one of the key factors that kept me from going back and trying it. Lately, i've been on an MGS spree, with the objective of playing all MGS games available for the Switch and finally being able to play MGS 4, released from PS3 jail.

I regret not playing it before. What a great game, great story, and compelling characters. An experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life; the last time I felt this way was when I finished P4G. It felt like reading a great book.

I feel that for some time now, games have been too focused on graphics and microtransactions. Game consoles keep getting more expensive (even before AI destroyed the consumer electronics market). As someone from Latin America, prices have been pushing me away from my favorite hobby; maybe the Switch will be the last "modern" console I'll be able to buy. But in the end, modern gaming has become increasingly less appealing.

Anyway, MGS is a great experience, the type of experience that enriches the spirit and feeds the soul.back and tryin. I've been on a MGS spree, with the objective of playing all MGS avalable for the Switch and finally been able to play MGS 4, realesed from PS3 jail.
