I **drilled two 3/8 inch holes** in the bottom of the ceramic mug, placed a few **quartz rocks at the bottom** to promote drainage and dam up the holes, then added some **cactus mix+perlite.** With a foundation established, I **Dropped in the plant** (after removing its old plastic shell), placed 2 **more quartz rocks** on either side of the roots to **keep the plant erect** while I added more **soil and perlite** around the edges. Stopped adding soil when I covered the existing sand. Put a couple rocks above the soil for vibes. We got this new rolling greenhouse cart **by the window,** so I moved it over from the kitchen sink spot. Put the included (?mediocre?) **grow lights** on a timer, automatically on for **14 hours** a day, and west facing window gets a **couple hours of setting sun** each day.

I work during the day and can't be home to move him outside for noon sun. I just want Harambe to be happy 😭. I'm super worried about the **temperature regulation** and especially in relation to **the hibernation schedule**. Harambe has dropped a couple leaves since I got it and gut says that's either nothing to worry about or a symptom of not enough light? Which hopefully the move over to the big window + timed light will help.

Could use some reassurance or pro guidance. USDA zone 6 but my West facing patio doesn't really get an abundance of sun, it's covered so no direct light until after noon, **and** there's two big tall oak trees providing partial cover
