[ US ] I’ve been getting verification codes for restaurants ?

So I woke up this morning with a verification code from wetzel’s prezels and Jersey Mike within a hour of each other .

Now I checked my bank and no money is being taken from me , just someone using my phone number to make fast food accounts . It’s not one random guy putting a random number in cause I got two within a hour .

Is there something to be gained here ? I mean they can’t even get the verification code that’s being sent to me . I wanna believe someone’s just accidentally sending the code cause we have a similar phone number or something cause no one has access to my texts .

I was just curious what people here thought .
