Rural 2080 question

I am currently over the 2080 but NOT over the 2240. We had an OIC while our postmaster was on assignment elsewhere, and when the postmaster came back a couple weeks ago is when I was actually told about it, so the OIC has not been monitoring it at all. What happens now? I've read so many conflicting things. PM doesn't seem super concerned, she has not tried to force me to take leave. I'm really unsure on what will happen with my hours, and if they can force me to take leave or not.
