Halifax Store
I made an appointment to have the battery changed in my iPhone 13Pro. I live outside of Halifax so it’s a bit of a drive in. My appointment was at 1:pm. I busted my bum to get there on time. There was one guy at the Genius Bar who kept interrupting my session answering questions from 2 people who didn’t even own an Apple product. He put me through the paces of setting the phone up for repair. THEN he tells me I’ll have to wait 4 hours to get my phone back! I’ve had battery changes before and was out within an hour or so. He told me there were 5 people after me. (He probably meant ahead of me.) Did those 5 people have an appointment?? I can’t wait for four hours. I have to walk with a cane so it’s not easy getting around. I’m so pissed! I’ve been an Apple person since the ‘90’s and Apple just keeps letting me down—crazy prices, charging able changes, all the crap they’ve put us through. I don’t know who to complain to and it probably wouldn’t help anyway. I am very tempted to go Google phone even though I have Apple everything—Mac, iPad Pro, etc. It’d be a big change. Is it just me or is the company on the decline? Is the Halifax store an anomaly? Thanks for reading. I searched for a “Rant” flair but found none. 😡😡😡
