DAE have dreams about having to defend yourself by killing someone in really violent, non-conventional ways?

I basically said the most of it in the title, but for most of my life, I’ve had dreams (probably 1 every 3-4 months) where somebody is trying to kill me, and I have to defend myself. Every single time, I end up doing it in weird and very violent, almost desperate ways. Usually it’s because they won’t die, so I get desperate. For example, I used to have it a lot as a kid where this long dark haired woman would try to get me, and I’d do something like slam her head in a car door as hard as I can over and over. Or the other night, I had a dream about this guy trying to hurt my family, and I literally clawed his eyes out and ripped his insides out of his body one by one to make sure the job was done.

It’s funny because I am NOT a violent person whatsoever. I’m very chill and very sensitive, in fact, I can’t even watch scary movies or hear bad stories without getting scared or disturbed, so I’m not sure where the intense violence comes from. But it’s mostly the fact that it’s so creatively intense. Like why am I not just intensely stabbing them, why am I pushing a dresser down the stairs so it falls on their head and smashing them under it??
