Toilet theory
Ok so you know that when you start the prologue, terry’s room doesn’t have any other rooms, so how does he poop? The hotel has a maximum of 7 rooms, so does that mean they have to get through a person’s room to get to the other rooms? and if so, that means the toilet is on the second floor or higher, and that would mean a pipe would have to come down through the first floor, but we see no other pipes, and the walls in the hotel are 1 stud thick, so they can’t fit a pipe in the walls. so does the pipe just go in the same room as the person who has access to the rest of the hotel? And why would a random NPC have exclusive access to the rest of the hotel? well I was checking the room dialogue when I noticed something, on room #3 it says that “Dont you know jumping while dashing can cancel your end lag?” But then if you look at the dash animation, the frames are 80% off the ground, so how would one jump while in the air? This makes me think that the NPC from room #3 knows more then he lets on. They may also have access to the rest of the hotel, and is blocking US specifically from using it. So this means that the NPC from room #3 is trying to prevent something that can happen on the upper part of the hotel, however what is so important that they deny us access? The toilet, of course. The single toilet that no other room in block takes has, and this must mean the toilet is special. If we could flush ourselves down the drain, this means we could unlock the sewers area. Which leads to the pit, So not only is the NPC in room #3 self-aware, but is also trying to prevent us from getting to the pit. But what is so important in the pit you may ask? Well this comes to my next theory about room 100, the bottom of the pit must have some crazy super boss (like the one in paper Mario). And with this super boss, there would be a reward. Now this can’t just be for no reason, so that only means that the reward is something that could change the fate of the world…
