Where to invest??

Unsure where to invest inheritance over and above TFSA and RRSP.

It's going to top up both my TFSA and my RRSP plus

a bit more

Where do I invest the rest?

I have a condo. With a small small mortgage. Less than. 1000/month. I think I'm better off investing it

Unlike an RRSP where you can redistribute the assets. I'm thinking an ETF and letting it sit for 10 years.. (approx retirement timeline). I'm scared about buying something and having to sell it so I may buy something else. I will continue to top up my TFSA and RRSP from the unregistered investments.

Teach me what am I missing. I never thought I'd have enough to retire on..

Buying a single ETF and holding for 10 years seems scary. like it's a crap shoot. I can't sell ever or get hit with capital gains?
