Some SA rules I have found that extend past Kristjans.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to share some SA rules I have found that help me trade flags, and pullbacks similar to Kristjan, Martin, Pradeep, Oliver and Monis.

As you may know, trading is much more complex than many can describe in the video, so here are the rules where I tend to do best.

All rules are QQQ, but if you’re trading something like NUGT or UCO you would want to use a more relevant etf like GDX, SLV or USO.

10>20>50>100>200.
This rule is much more effective for me than a simple 10/20 rule.

Major index gap
Major index gaps tend to precede large moves. I find on day 1, to about day 5 I do well following a major gap.

Major exhaustion
I find following a major index exhaustion, long or short, I lose the most money. Markets just straight up die every time this happens. I draw a line at a round number near the high and low of a major capitulation event and I refuse to trade inside this range. These ranges are single handedly the most common reason I draw down.

Major QQQ level. I’ve found that often stocks make big moves if Nasdaq comes close to a major level. If the environment is choppy, this may happen once a week, providing a single trading opportunity for 2 days. No way does it make sense to use MAs here.

With breakouts, a lot of the job is avoiding bad environments. The 10/20 rule that most people ignore has been, in my experience, very poor by itself. As a result I use the above.

Also, if a sector is five star at the moment it will have 10>20>50>100>200
And also the volume will have the MAs stacked. If something does all of the above, you should watch it for at least a quarter for trades.

Consider silver earlier this year, KORU and SOXL too.

Hope this helps someone be more selective :)
