My Childhood
I've been looking at some of the photos on this thread, and it took me back to the 4/5 of times I came to here as a young child.
This place was pretty much the most places I went to as a child. My parents, didn't have that much money, but they managed to get me and my brother to Disneyland on more than one occasion. Looking back, I think what makes it more special, is how much my parents worked hard, sacrificed just to get me and my brother to Disneyland.
We stayed at the Cheyenne a few times, and the last time was at the Newport.
I still remember the meal my family had at the Disney hotel, photographs with all of the characters. Most of the children during that night, were out of control, and I was the most behaved child. Which probably shocked my parents as I suffer from ADHD. This waiter, noticed how well behaved I was, and kept slipping sweets into my trousers. I wear trackies, as we call them in the UK, and it got to the point, that the trackies were stuffed with that my sweats, they couldn't be kept up anymore. I had to walk all the way from the Disney Hotel to Cheyenne, holding my trackies up to stop them from falling down. The waiter even gave my parents sweets as well.
