House items after Death

Hi, seeking advice on who one can contact after a person leaves no guidance on stuff in the house after their death. I live alone and after receiving a life altering news it made me think about if I passed suddenly, who/what would happen to my stuff? I am not attached to things but want to understand if there are responsible things i could do before - even if it means having all of it dumped responsibly. I don’t have family in the country and hardly any friends, and that’s why looking for suggestions.
