Grateful for this sub (since the main SH subreddit is gatekeeping central)

I stumbled across this subreddit after searching for explanations as to why the main SH subreddit’s team seemed to be deleting anything that doesn’t fit their own vision of the franchise (even though that doesn’t seem to be the vision the franchise holders themselves are pursuing right now).

I’ve been trying to share my thoughts and opinions about Townfall over there for the past few days, and it was honestly driving me insane (and also making me kind of bitter and angry, which annoys me because I hate feeling like this lol) to see that almost all of my posts and comments kept getting deleted. It made me sad to think that the one place on the Internet where I could talk about one of my favorite franchises was so hostile.

I mean, I get that not every game in the series can be to everyone’s liking, and that’s perfectly fine. But over there, it sometimes feels like you can’t say you like anything about the series unless it has been brought up in some random interview with a Team Silent dev in 2003. 🤭

And then I find this sub! I’m really grateful this place exists, and I might share some of the posts that were unfortunately removed over there.

So, just wanted to express my gratitude, and I’m looking forward to having more welcoming and civil discussions about this franchise that we all love!
