Schwab Amex cashback trifecta

Long time listener, first time caller. Long story short, I’m military, and I’d like to switch up my credit card game. Due to new life plans, I believe I’m going to want to do a Cashback set up over a travel set up. Current set up I use the Amex Platinum for some of the credits, most everything else on an Apple Card.

I was thinking of the Schwab plat/gold/Robinhood GC set up. Easy to remember and pretty liquid to do what I want with.

For retirement stuff, I use my TSP and fidelity.

Anyways I hope this is enough info for feedback. I don’t really want to chase 5% over 5-6 cards. Just wasn’t worth it. Has set up actually worked in practice? Is there a different 2-3 card cashback setup that compares.
