Why Islam became less philosophical and more orthodox/traditional overtime?

Like I am reading a lot of abput golden age era of Islam about Islamic sects mixing greek philosophy and cosmology where Islam were open to adding new ideas from rationalism, Neoplatonism, Aristotelianism, and Plato's world views to Islam, like In Isaimli, mutzillah, Athari, Ashari, early zayyidsm, Druzism, Maturidism, Alevism, and etc where some them went to far to reject creationism in favor emanationism, or have different views of after life like a middle place between heaven and hell or accepting reincarnation, there was even some saying that quran was created, or that God doesn't can forsee the future because he gave us afree will, some of sects I mention added even new ritual including drinking wine, These beliefs would consider as taboo by modern mainstream islam.
