*why* is the state of dating apps so bad??

Rant

32m first time using the apps (was in 8 year LTR prior) and 90% of profiles i am presented with are truly abysmal.

-pictures are low effort or over filtered, often times (every time?) meant to intentionally obscure themselves

-three word bios/prompts- liking queso and margaritas is not a personality trait.

-red flags are *abundant* the females claiming to want a man that “doesn’t play games“ or “who can actually keep up“ are the ones with the least amount of insight into their own negative behaviors ⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️

I am fairly attractive, average height, workout daily. I feel like I had reasonable expectations going into this?

be decently attractive

care about your health

put a little effort in and be seeking some growth in your life

I’m just astounded at how few profiles I’m presented with that I feel like even have a chance of being decent matches
