Is this happening to you? Community concern

I’m a young woman and sometimes I will park behind Tony’s when I go downtown. The last few times I’ve gotten back to my car after a night out, there’s been a hat placed on my windshield, tucked behind the wiper blades.

The first time, I didn’t think much of it, but now that’s it happened a few times, I’m wondering if it’s happening to anyone else?

I know that there have been concerns of vehicles being tagged by sex traffickers in town and I am wondering if this is what it is? Possibly someone hoping to get me to get out of my car and remove the hat ?? I have so many questions.

Truly hoping it’s a good soul trying to spread some joy by leaving hats around but that feels too optimistic.
