So I recently moved to a new apartment, I have 2 female cresties, 1 male crestie, and 1 leopard gecko. All of them seemingly healthy with normal bowel movements, eating patterns and shedding except for the fact that I cannot get near my male without him flipping out. I used to be able to handle him, let other people hold him too. Now he throws himself all over the tank anytime he sees me looking at him. And not in a "I want food" or "I saw a bug" way. In a terrified way. He is not near any female gecko, he is in a corner all by himself. He eats plenty of pangea but will not take any bugs at all, especially not now. Tonight I walked over to his tank so I could spray it down, but he was near the door so I bent down to look at him and he flipped out, landed on his food bowls, and started biting the glass and looked like he was trying to bite his legs and tail.... he was not chirping or making any noises. He has a small bit of stuck shed on his nails, and a thin dangly peice of skin attached by a thread on his back. No where else do I see stuck or wrapped skin. His eyes and mouth look clear, I dont see any obvious signs of redness of marks on his body. But I cannot remove him from his tank currently because he will bite me or drop his tail or both and I dont want to further traumatize him but I genuinely am at a loss on what to do. It has been nearly 2 months since moving and he has not settled at all. I never go near his tank during the day, and all I can do is spray down his tank and put his food in.
