Inviting families in a 4th grade classroom

Hi all! It’s my first year teaching 4th grade. I’m expected to invite families into my classroom 3-4 times a year for things other than class parties. I’m trying to think of meaningful events related to academics. I can’t do a publishing party because they don’t have me for writing 🥲 what do you all do in your classrooms?
