Is OChem II worth taking?

Hey all! I’m still in undergrad taking pre requisites, currently in Organic I and plan* on taking Organic II next semester. I was talking with some friends who mentioned several medical schools do not require Orgo II anymore, and just Orgo I lecture and lab suffice most requirements.
That being said, is it worth taking it for the MCAT or for med school? Did anyone not take it and feel like it was fine, or the opposite, and they should’ve taken it? I am doing research for schools that don’t require it, but it seems a lot of MD are slowly becoming more friendly to just the Orgo I sequence, whereas the DO programs require both still.
*I’m only asking because I know it’ll be back breaking and I’m willing to do it, but I need to plan out my semester schedule for spring and have to decide if it’ll be in it or not. I appreciate any and all feedback!
