What happened to make students stop caring?
I'm a TA for a major specific class with less than 50 people. On their last lab assignment, which was only the third one of the semester, 20% of the class still hasn't submitted it on Canvas 3 days after the due date has passed. Back when I took this class, you'd be hard pressed to find more than 1 or 2 people turning it in a few hours late, much less a few days late. What the hell happened to the work ethic I used to see? I'm starting to understand why boomers think that our generation does no work and doesn't know struggle. If this trend continues, college degrees aren't gonna mean jack in 10 years from now.
