Female reservations??Pls help me out

Can someone make me understand why fem within open cat deserve reservations at IITs or anywhere else for that matter??

Like sc,st whether privileged or underprivileged will apply in sc,st. Yes there should be creamy layer as it is said.

Obc person→private job+business(8 L limit)→will apply under obc ncl

Obc person→govt job[group B,C,D(except group b dual parents)]→will apply under obc ncl

Non sc,st,obc person→ if income under 8 L then ews

So basically gen means you are income privileged+ Caste wise you are most probably privileged or a few obc(most probably dominant obc).

Then why Gen fem deserve reservations??

IITD cutoff 2025 MnC for male open was CRL 355,

For female open CRL 2258

Atleast open cat should be 100% merit based.This is so unfair for gen male😭😭
