Everyday rewards app not working missed specials and points - what to do?

So my husband went to do the shopping and the woolworths app logged out and apparently the checkout person noted issues at the time. With it logged out he completed transaction. We missed out on specials and reward points and it seems unfair. Is there anything I can do?
