Got laid off... I'm in a weird place career wise.

Hi all,

Unfortunately 14 months in after getting my first system administrator job I was laid off.

Prior to that job I have 1 year of helpdesk experience and one year as a college desktop support work study.

On the bright side I was able to get my bachelor's but I'm unsure how to navigate obtaining the another system administrator position this early into my career.

I've definitely picked up quite a few skills there, but junior level positions are rare where I live and I haven't gotten any bites for anything mid level.

Would it make more sense to go back to helpdesk or should I wait out for something better? Im privileged to say I can definitely survive a few months jobless.

Current certs: CCNA, AZ305, AZ104, CompTIA Trifecta.
