Can the cosmic anvil from All-Star Superman forge any type of star that is miniature or just one specific type?

Furthermore, would these miniature suns have an effect on Kryptonian physiology and biology in the same way that a yellow star affects kryptonians or red sun or a green sun or white sun or would they not be enough?
