Winter this year has been strange with bouts of warmth and no snow followed by short periods of harsh storms. Though forecasted was a storm powerful enough to cause a state of emergency in a few states. Ethan and Sara were vacationing at a cabin when the alerts went out. He had to squint to see through the snow but it wasn’t hard to see a small plume of smoke being blown away from a plow truck. “Honey, someone just crashed outside! I’m going to go help!”

Garbed in winter gear Ethan braved the blizzard and trudged to the crashed vehicle. In the driver’s seat was a man slouched over the steering wheel and unconscious. Reaching through the busted window Ethan unlocked the door and helped the man out of the truck. The stranger was a pretty big man but Ethan wasn’t about to let that stop him from saving this man!

It took some time but Ethan dragged the unconscious man back to the cabin. “Sara, get some blankets and get some water hot. Looks like we’re going to have a guest.”
