Looking for new irons — ~$500–750 CAD budget

Hey everyone, I’m looking to get a new set of irons and could use some advice.

I’m an intermediate golfer, not a complete beginner. I currently have a 3-PW set but I basically never use my 3-iron, so I’m fine with getting something like 5-PW.

I hit my 7-iron around 130 yards. I’m left-handed and I’m thinking about getting stiff shafts, although I’m not 100% sure if that’s the right choice for me.

My budget is around $500 CAD, but I’m willing to spend up to $750 CAD if the extra money is actually worth it.

I’ve been looking at:

• Mizuno JPX Hot Metal
• TaylorMade P790
• Ping i525/i530
• TaylorMade SIM2 Max
• Kirkland irons

I’m completely fine with buying used.

What would you guys recommend around this price range? Also, are there any specific older models I should be looking for?
