Intense Nightmares

I had a dream I was back in highschool doing volunteer work when I was shot in the back because of a shooting. It hurt so bad I can't even explain it. I couldn't breathe and my entire torso was in agony. I was still hurting when I woke up. Last thing I remember is waking up inside my dream and being showed the video they had of me getting shot. I woke up crying and so scared holy shit. It was easily the worst nightmares I've ever had as someone with really intense and graphic nightmares. Anyone else deal with these issues?
